Recently we have had some pretty fun things going on such as:
CARVING PUMPKINS!!!
Jacob, or as Allan called him, Michelangelo, carving the pumpkin.
It's a haunted house, but Allan kept saying, "Oh, that is a scary face!" haha. Poor blind man.
GOING TO FOOTBALL GAMES!Allan gave us football tickets for the TCU game, since we are from Texas. Because taking the baby to a football game in cold, rainy weather was not my idea of fun, Jacob invited his buddy Ryan to go. They sat in the alumi section, but wanted to show off their student spirit, so here is how they turned out.
They said that the wigs kept their heads warm. While thy were cheering on the Cougs, Ashley and I had a grand time chatting and going through her CUTE baby headbands, bows and flowers. Even though the Cougars let us down, a good time was had all around.
Baby Developing!!!
Kyla has been developing like crazy. Every day it seems she is doing something new. Here are a few of her recent accomplishments:
She LOVES reading books! Obviously an English graduate's daughter.
Sitting up in her bumbo. She has always been so strong and she continues to show it.
L:earning how to take a bottle. This has been a work in progress, but she is getting there.
One of her new sleeping habits is sleeping on her tummy. The other night when Jacob and I went to bed, we found her like this with her booty in the air. The picture doesn't do it justice. I don't know what it is about little kids sleeping with their booties in the air, but it sure is cute!
Kyla has always held her head up like a champ! Now she is starting to push herself up with her hands. Sooner than we know, she is going to be crawling!
We have really been enjoying this
