Pumpkin Carving!

As tradition demands, we accomplished our pumpkin carving. Kyla loved that we were actually acting out the pumpkin song that she has been singing non-stop.
This seems to be the basic trend of this tradition: Mommy does the dirty part, Daddy does the carving. Kyla only touched the goopy stuff once, then I couldn't get her to do it again. She just watched after that.
Kyla decided on what kind of face we did. She said she wanted a mean, scary face, not a silly face.
It was one of those pants-less nights, which I'm sure anyone with a toddler knows all about.
The finished pumpkin with Grandpa Allan.
Please don't judge me for the pantsless girl sitting outside in the freezing cold. We were really only out there for like 15 seconds.
And the jack-o-lantern. I think it turned out pretty good, considering I hand traced the face. Jacob did really good on the carving part too!

Lots of Halloween fun activities!
